Dojo Etiquette
All students, old and new, are expected to follow certain etiquette rules when present in the dojo. Here is a list of expectations the Sensei's expect of their students:-
1. All students must arrive at the dojo at least five minutes prior to the class starting. In cases where students are unable to attend on time they are then expected to kneel at the dojo entrance before being called in by a Sensei.
2. All students must wear clean, ironed gi's.
3. All students with long hair must tie their hair back appropriately.
4. All piercings must be removed prior to training. In the case where piercings cannot be removed they must be covered by tape.
5. All students are expected to respect their Sensei's.
6. All jewellery must be removed
7. Toe and finger nails must be kept short.
